Program Manager - Electricity Distribution - Field Operations Tullamarine + field + some flexibility

UGL's Utilities Operations & Maintenance business has grown significantly and continues to grow, delivering essential services across Australia's electricity networks. We're a close-knit team of passionate utilities people who know the industry, enjoy what we do and are focused on building a strong operation for the future. We're now looking for a Program Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of our electricity distribution maintenance and construction programs across AusNet and United Energy, bringing together our field crews, clients and operational delivery.

Key responsibilities

- Lead the day-to-day delivery of overhead electricity distribution maintenance and construction works across AusNet and United Energy.
- Coordinate multiple field crews, making sure people, resources, training and authorisations are in place for upcoming works.
- Stay close to field delivery, supporting Crew Leaders and Lineworkers across planned maintenance, faults and operational challenges.
- Manage client relationships, work performance, reporting and delivery requirements across the programs.
- Oversee workforce forecasting, financial performance, invoicing and the efficient use of people, plant, materials and subcontractors.

About you

You might currently be a Field Leader, Depot Manager, Construction Manager, Operations Manager or Delivery Manager.





What matters most is your electricity distribution experience, your understanding of field operations and your ability to lead multiple crews and keep work moving.

- Strong practical experience in overhead electricity distribution, ideally within the Victorian Electricity Supply Industry.
- Experience leading multiple Lineworker crews, with responsibility for maintenance schedules, faults, planned works and day-to-day field delivery.
- Strong workforce and resource planning skills, including coordinating crews, training, authorisations, leave and changing operational priorities.
- Comfortable working across the broader operation, including work orders and systems, auditing, costs, invoicing and program performance.
- Able to build strong relationships with electricity network clients while remaining a visible, credible leader with crews in the field.
