We are seeking an experienced Night Shift Manager to join a Logistics Company in Werribee, VIC. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our logistics facilities during night-time hours. As Night Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all night shift arrivals and despatches. This position is integral to our success in delivering reliable service to our clients.

Key responsibilities

- Monitor all National Line haul movements
- Manage any breakdowns or incidents
- Manage and monitor all delivery timeslots and all loading times.
- Manage night yard duties, loading and unloading vehicles
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures
- Identify process improvements and operational inefficiencies, recommending solutions to senior management
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all shift activities and incidents
- Manage handover from nightshift to dayshift

What we're looking for

- Proven supervisory or management experience in a logistics, warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with DC's,



customers and drivers alike.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Sound knowledge of larger supply chain facilities is an advantage.
- Sound problem-solving capabilities and the ability to make decisions under pressure
- A sound knowledge of all Heavy Vehicle National laws and regulations
- Experience in refrigerated produce transportation would be an advantage
- Be efficient with electronic systems such as email and GPS tracking.
- Forklift licence is desirable.
- Current driver's licence is preferred
