Action on Disability within Ethnic Communities – Bayswater VIC

ADEC is seeking a qualified Support Worker to provide care and assistance to an older lady in Bayswater, VIC 3153. This is a casual position offering flexible scheduling to meet her support needs at home. The role involves providing respite and personal care from Monday to Friday.

What you'll be doing

Providing personal care and support to older people.

Assisting with daily living activities such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and transportation.

Engaging clients in social and recreational activities to improve their quality of life.

Advocating for client needs and communicating with family members and healthcare providers.

Maintaining accurate client records and documentation.

What we're looking for

Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification.

Experience providing care and support to older people or clients with disabilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Empathy, patience, and a commitment to client-centred care.

A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
