Job responsibilities

- Coordinate trucks for timely pick-up and delivery of produce.
- Review work quality regularly and implement corrective measures when needed.
- Ensure all seeding and planting specifications are met accurately.
- Manage seed stock levels, usage, and storage in line with company procedures.
- Monitor crop development and regulate crop activities.
- Monitor crops for pests, diseases and other abnormalities.
- Collaborate with the Grower, Farm Operations Manager, and Agronomist as required.
- Maintain harvest and farm equipment according to maintenance procedures.
- Monitor germination rates to confirm seed quality standards are achieved.
- Keep thorough records of farm activities, production, and seed usage.
- Label crops correctly to maintain clear identification throughout growth cycles.
- Coordinate harvest and post-harvest activities with farm and packing shed teams.




- Ensure scheduled crops for intended harvest have passed the applicable withholding period and are harvested correctly according to crop conditions, soil moisture and variety to minimise mechanical damage and maintain harvest quality.
- Enforce and uphold strict health and safety standards across all farm activities.
- Store, prepare and apply chemicals to control pests, weeds and diseases.
- Operate chemical application machinery and equipment.
- Carry out emergency disease or plant pest control procedures at infected premises.
- Perform shed nursery activities.

What we offer

● A competitive annual salary of $71,000 - $80,000 plus superannuation.
