Take the next step from Product Owner to Product Manager

Aspirante is partnering with an established international manufacturer seeking a Product Manager to take ownership of an app-enabled product across Australia and New Zealand.

The product allows customers to remotely operate, monitor and manage physical equipment through an application. With further product development and a next-generation release planned, the business is looking for someone who can represent the ANZ market and connect customer needs with its international product and development teams.

This could suit an existing Product Manager or an experienced Product Owner ready to move beyond backlog and feature ownership into a broader role encompassing product direction, lifecycle management, customer adoption and commercial performance.

You do not need to be a hardware engineer. You will, however, need to understand how software, applications and manufactured products come together to solve customer and operational problems.

What you will be responsible for
You will become the local owner and advocate for the product across ANZ. Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing the product lifecycle, local priorities and market positioning.
- Developing a strong understanding of customers, users and the operating workplace.
- Translating customer feedback and market opportunities into product requirements and recommendations.
- Representing ANZ priorities with international product, software and development teams.
- Contributing to the product roadmap and business cases for future enhancements.
- Coordinating new product, feature and application releases within the local market.
- Ensuring sales, service and customer-facing teams are prepared for new releases.
- Using product data and customer feedback to improve adoption and performance.




- Supporting significant customer opportunities where product knowledge and delivery confidence are important.
- Providing day-to-day guidance to a small, experienced support function.

What we are looking for
Your experience is likely to come from a manufacturing, industrial or operational technology environment where a physical product is connected to an application, platform or cloud-based service.

Relevant sectors could include:

- Industrial automation.
- Electronics or electrical products.
- Connected equipment, sensors or telemetry.
- Smart buildings or energy technology.
- Remote monitoring and asset-management solutions.
- Other app-enabled products manufactured for commercial or industrial customers.

You may currently be working as a Product Owner, Product Specialist or early-career Product Manager.

You will ideally bring experience in:

- Product roadmaps, backlogs, requirements or lifecycle management.
- Translating customer and market needs for software, engineering or development teams.
- Launching new products, features or application releases.
- Working across commercial, operational and technical stakeholders.
- Using customer feedback or product data to support decisions.
- Building credibility with customers and internal teams.

You will be commercially aware, technically curious and ready to take on greater product and leadership responsibility.
