We are currently seeking TWO experienced Carpenters to join our team on a full-time basis.

About the Role

We are seeking two skilled and reliable Carpenters to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful applicants will be responsible for constructing, erecting, installing, renovating and repairing structures and fixtures made from timber, plywood, wallboard and other materials.

The role will involve working on a range of construction and carpentry projects and requires a strong commitment to quality, safety and workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

- Construct, erect, install, renovate and repair structures and fixtures made from timber, plywood, wallboard and other materials.
- Read and interpret building plans, drawings and specifications.
- Measure, mark, cut, shape and assemble timber and other building materials.
- Construct and install frameworks, doors, windows, flooring, walls, fittings and other fixtures.
- Undertake carpentry repairs, maintenance and renovation work.
- Undertake frequent work at remote rural properties, including timber fencing, building maintenance and shed construction.
- Construct, repair and maintain timber fencing and rural structures as required.
- Carry out general building maintenance and repairs at remote rural properties.
- Construct, install and maintain sheds and other outbuildings.




- Operate the company's portable timber mill to process and prepare timber products required for carpentry, fencing, construction and maintenance projects.
- Assist with the production and supply of timber products required for construction, fencing and maintenance projects.
- Safely operate and maintain carpentry tools, machinery and timber-processing equipment.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets required standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment.
- Comply with workplace health and safety requirements.
- Travel to and work at remote rural properties as required.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, applicants must have:

- A minimum of 1 year of full-time relevant work experience as a Carpenter.
- A relevant qualification in Carpentry, Building or a related trade
- Practical knowledge and experience in general carpentry and construction work.
- Ability to read and interpret building plans and specifications.
- Ability to use carpentry tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work full-time and attend work in person.
- Relevant registration or licensing where required.

What We Offer

- Salary $78,000 to $80,000 excluding mandatory superannuation
