Your New Role
CV Services is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our growing Electrical Infrastructure team. You will be responsible for the successful onsite delivery of substation, power distribution, and complex electrical infrastructure projects, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
This role will suit an established Site Manager, Construction Supervisor, or Senior Electrical Supervisor with strong experience delivering substations, utility infrastructure, industrial electrical projects, or major electrical construction works.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing day-to-day site operations across multiple electrical infrastructure projects
- Leading site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and delivery partners
- Driving a robust safety culture and ensuring compliance with HSEQ requirements
- Managing construction sequencing and coordinating civil, electrical, and commissioning activities
- Overseeing cable installation, HV/LV equipment installation, testing, and energisation readiness
- Delivering weekly and fortnightly construction programs and look-ahead plans
- Identifying site risks, constraints, and delays, while implementing mitigation strategies
- Managing quality assurance, inspections, testing documentation, and defect close-out
- Coordinating procurement, materials, plant, and site logistics
- Supporting project reporting, forecasting, and stakeholder communication
What You'll Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Proven experience delivering electrical infrastructure, utility,
or substation construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, project delivery, and site-based leadership
- Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour teams
- Sound understanding of HV and LV electrical installations and testing requirements
- Demonstrated ability to drive safety, quality, and productivity outcomes on site
- Experience coordinating commissioning and energisation activities is highly regarded
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Construction White Card and current manual Driver's Licence
- Trade qualification, electrical background, or relevant construction management qualification
