Our client ZAM BOYS PTY LTD, trading as Zambrero, is seeking to appoint a full‑time Retail Store Manager for its Penrith outlet in NSW. This is a high‑volume, fast‑paced retail food venue with 65 customer seatings, requiring a dedicated and experienced manager who can oversee end‑to‑end store operations, lead and develop staff, uphold exceptional customer service standards, and ensure the efficient, compliant, and smooth running of the business.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate robust leadership and staff‑motivation capabilities, sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene and WHS obligations, excellent communication and conflict‑resolution skills, and proficiency in point‑of‑sale systems and general computer operations.

Key duties and responsibilities

•Evaluate menu/product range, set in-store stock levels to minimise wastage, establish service standards

•Develop purchasing and marketing strategies, establish pricing per products and local market

•Promote the outlet via in-store initiatives, community engagement, and franchisor-led campaigns





•Attend customers at counter when required, process transactions, guide on menu options, dietary needs, and ingredients

•Keep accurate records of stock, daily sales, POS transactions, and financial data for reporting/audit

•Plan and manage operational budget, forecast revenue, control food and labour costs, monitor expenditure

•Advertise vacancies, interview, select, roster, train, supervise and performance-guide all team members

•Enforce food safety, award compliance and align pricing/product/promotions across Drive-thru, takeaway, and online channels

•Ensure the operations runs smoothly across the products quality, promotions of store, store policies and related workplace health and safety guidelines.

Skills and Experience

·Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a retail, restaurant, or food service management role.

·AQF Diploma level or Higher

Salary:

$75,000 to AUD $85,000 per annum + superannuation.

Full Time – Min 38 hours/week
