Our menu features a wide selection of dishes including tacos, burritos, quesadillas, fajitas, seafood, meat dishes, rice dishes, fresh salsas, appetisers, and desserts. We focus on fresh ingredients, house-made components, and consistent food quality to provide our customers with an enjoyable dining experience.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a passionate Cook to join our professional kitchen team and contribute to our commitment to quality, consistency, and outstanding hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook Mexican dishes in accordance with recipes and quality standards.
- Prepare ingredients, sauces, salsas, marinades, fillings, and garnishes for daily service.
- Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, portion sizes, and cooking standards.
- Complete daily mise en place and maintain an organised kitchen workstation.
- Operate commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow food safety, hygiene,



and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Monitor stock levels, rotate ingredients, minimise wastage, and assist with deliveries.
- Work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service.
- Assist with specials, menu preparation, and training junior kitchen staff when required.

Qualifications & Experience

- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as a Cook or in a commercial kitchen.
- Experience with Mexican or similar cuisine is highly regarded.
- Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy restaurant environment.
- Valuable teamwork, communication, and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent food quality.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
