As the business continues to develop its customer base and market presence, Remitex is seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist to join its Melbourne team. The successful candidate will develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, support customer acquisition and retention, and strengthen the company's position in the foreign exchange services market.

Key Responsibilities

The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for:

- Planning, developing and organising advertising policies and campaigns to support the company's sales and business development objectives.
- Advising management on advertising and marketing strategies designed to reach identified target markets, increase consumer awareness and effectively promote the company's services.
- Coordinating the production and delivery of advertising campaigns, including artwork, copywriting, media content, digital advertising and media placement, within approved budgets and timeframes.
- Researching market demand, customer behaviour, competitor activity and market characteristics relevant to existing and proposed services.
- Collecting, analysing and interpreting market data, customer information and statistical information to assist management with marketing and commercial decisions.
- Supporting business growth through the preparation and implementation of marketing objectives, policies, campaigns and promotional programs.
- Commissioning and undertaking market research to identify opportunities for existing services, new customer segments and potential areas of business growth.
- Advising management on elements of the marketing mix,



including service positioning, pricing, advertising, sales promotion and distribution channels.
- Creating, scheduling, publishing and managing marketing content across the company's social media platforms, website and other digital channels.
- Using statistical and analytical methods to assess the potential impact of pricing and promotional strategies on customer demand and business profitability.
- Monitoring the performance of marketing initiatives and providing regular reports, analysis and practical recommendations to management.
- Analysing data from digital marketing campaigns, websites, social media platforms and other digital channels to assess campaign effectiveness and customer engagement.
- Reviewing website and digital content performance and recommending updates to improve search engine performance, online visibility and customer engagement.

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate should have:

- At least one year of relevant professional experience in a Marketing Specialist or closely related marketing role in the same field
- Experience in developing and implementing marketing campaigns and promotional strategies.
- Strong analytical, research and communication skills.
- Experience using digital marketing platforms, social media channels and website content management tools.
- The ability to analyse campaign performance, customer behaviour and market data and provide practical recommendations.
- Experience in foreign exchange, remittance, financial services or another customer-focused service environment will be highly regarded.
