About the Role

Due to continued growth, we're seeking an experienced IT Solutions Architect to join our expanding IT team. Reporting to the PM, Architecture and Engagement Team Leader, this is a highly influential role that sits at the intersection of business strategy and technology delivery, helping ensure our technology solutions enable and support the future needs of the organisation.

As a trusted advisor, you'll work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand their challenges, identify technology opportunities and design solutions that deliver real business value. You'll play a key role in bridging the gap between business requirements and IT capability, developing solution architectures that are secure, scalable and aligned with Babcock's technology standards. With a mix of on-premises and cloud technologies, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across hybrid environments and solving complex business problems.

You'll contribute across the full solution lifecycle, from gathering and documenting requirements through to solution design, governance and implementation support. Working alongside Project Managers,



Enterprise Architects and technical teams, you'll help shape project outcomes, provide technical leadership, contribute to business growth opportunities and ensure solutions are delivered in line with best practice, governance standards and business objectives.

To be successful, you will bring:

- Australian Citizen with a Defence security clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience within a project-based technology and solution delivery environment.
- Technical qualifications e.g. MCSE, CCNA.
- Previous experience in a similar role within Defence or other high-risk, complex industries.
- Experience delivering integrations with 3rd Party services e.g. Azure or AWS.
- Experience working with platforms on Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, and Oracle Software.
- Use of Architectural Toolset for design, process & lifecycle management.
