An exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join the Blue Water Shipping team in our Brisbane office on a 12-month contract.

Reporting to the State Manager, the Project Manager - Vessel Operations is responsible for the successful planning, execution and delivery of project vessel operations, ensuring all customer, commercial, operational, contractual and safety requirements are achieved throughout the project lifecycle. This role provides overall project leadership, stakeholder management, governance and performance oversight from project mobilisation through to final completion.

The key responsibilities for this role are:

- Lead project mobilisation, implementation and operational readiness activities

- Develop and maintain project execution plans, schedules, milestones and delivery strategies

- Manage customer relationships and act as the primary point of contact for project delivery matters

- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment across all project activities

- Oversee project governance, reporting, risk management and change management processes

- Identify risks, issues and constraints, implementing mitigation and recovery strategies where required

- Manage project financial performance, including forecasting, cost control, invoicing, variations and budget monitoring

- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company procedures, HSE requirements and customer standards

- Review and approve key operational plans, schedules and resource requirements

- Manage project documentation, records, reporting and close-out requirements

- Support claims management,



dispute resolution and commercial negotiations where required

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned throughout project delivery

- Ensure successful project completion and customer satisfaction through effective communication, coordination and leadership

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

- Diploma of First Degree, or relevant experience

- 10+ years International Logistics expereience

- Robust negotiation skills

- Complete understanding of BWS values

- English spoken and written - CEFR Level 5

- IT - intermediate Word, Excel and Outlook

- CargoWise experience is desireable

- Must be able to gain and maintain a Criminal History clearance
