We're currently seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing casual Educator to join our team, a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and enjoys creating a fun, engaging, and caring environment for children.

Conveniently located at Assisi College, we provide care and education for children from six weeks of age and offer a Queensland Government Approved Kindergarten Program for children in the year before Prep, catering for up to 75 children.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work with children to create fun, inclusive recreational and educational experiences that support their wellbeing
- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing workplace
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare's expectations and educational philosophy
- Play a pivotal role in developing children's lifelong love of learning
- Build strong rapport with families, educators, and the wider community
- Participate actively in professional and personal development

Job Requirements:

- Hold (or are working towards) a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an ACECQA approved equivalent
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Mandatory Child Protection (Geccko) Course 1 & 2 — Course 3 & 4 optional but highly regarded
- Knowledge and understanding of childcare industry practices including legislative requirements and quality frameworks




- A passion for the education and care of children aged 6 weeks to Kindergarten age in a play-based learning environment
- Effective workplace communication skills
