About the role

Emperor 3PL Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Warehouse/Forklift Operator to join our logistics team on a part-time basis. This role is based in Hemmant, QLD 4174 and is crucial to our operations, ensuring effective warehouse management and the safe movement of goods throughout our distribution network. As a Warehouse/Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of our warehouse, handling stock with precision, and operating material handling equipment to support our clients' supply chain requirements.

Key responsibilities

- Unloading containers ensuring items are handled carefully to prevent damage

- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move, store and retrieve goods within the warehouse

- Load and unload customer orders

- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks to ensure warehouse accuracy

- Stack and organize goods in designated warehouse locations, maximizing space utilisation

- Inspect equipment regularly and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to management

- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and warehouse standard operating procedures

- Assist with general warehouse housekeeping to maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment

- Support the warehouse team to meet daily targets and delivery schedules

- Operate warehouse management systems and equipment as directed by supervisors

What we're looking for

- Valid forklift ticket

- Proven experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment

- Excellent manual handling and material movement skills

- Ability to work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment





- Valuable attention to detail and accuracy when recording inventory or handling goods

- Physical capability to perform lifting, standing and other warehouse duties throughout shifts

- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Basic communication skills and willingness to follow instructions

- Previous experience in 3PL or distribution environments would be advantageous
