Join one of Australia’s largest digital health services supporting Healthdirect’s 1800 Medicare line. As a Digital Health Nurse, you’ll provide clinical assessment, health advice, triage and escalation support to Australians across a diverse range of health presentations.

The role
Working as part of a national 24/7 service, you’ll assess callers, provide appropriate health advice, identify risk and determine the most appropriate pathway for care. Presentations can range from medication and childhood illness queries through to complex symptom assessment and urgent escalation.
Shifts are 4–10 hours, with split-shift options available. You’ll need to be available across a 24/7 rotating roster, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.
Night shifts are currently our highest-priority vacancies.
Full time and part-time nurses working night shifts exclusively are eligible for dedicated set shifts.
About you
You’ll need:
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (3 years+)
- Experience in acute, emergency, primary health, rural/remote or similar settings
- Strong clinical judgement and triage skills
- Confidence using digital systems, CRMs and telehealth platforms
- A private home workspace and reliable internet
- 25 Mbps+ download for single-user homes
- 50 Mbps+ download for multi-user homes
Training & support
You’ll receive 2 weeks of paid online training, followed by ongoing support from experienced leaders and clinical teams. Full attendance during training is required. Intake dates are ongoing and will be confirmed during the recruitment process.
