About the role

Allcar Towing Group is seeking a reliable, organised and confident Weekend Dispatchers to join our growing operations team. This position will initially be offered on a casual basis, with a view to transitioning to permanent part-time employment for the right person. You will work Saturday and Sunday shifts, with additional weekday shifts available. Day Shift runs 6:00am – 2:00pm and Afternoon Shift runs 2:00pm – 10:00pm.

Key responsibilities

- Receive and coordinate towing and roadside assistance bookings

- Allocate jobs efficiently to drivers

- Monitor driver locations, availability and job progress

- Communicate professionally with customers, insurance companies and other clients

- Provide accurate updates and maintain detailed job records

- Respond calmly and effectively to urgent or time-sensitive situations

- Support drivers throughout their shifts





- Ensure jobs are coordinated efficiently from booking through to completion

About you

- Solid communication and customer service skills

- Excellent organisation and the ability to multitask

- Confidence working in a busy, fast-paced environment

- Good computer and data-entry skills

- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently

- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

- Knowledge of Melbourne and Victorian roads is highly regarded

- Previous experience in dispatch, transport, logistics or towing is preferred, but not essential
