Dental Assistant / Administration – 4 Days per Week

Smile Central Orthodontics is a specialist orthodontic practice in Warragul, and we are looking for a friendly, reliable and organised person to join our team in a combined Dental Assistant and Administration role.

The position is approximately 4 days per week and will involve a mix of clinical and administrative duties.

Initially, part of the role will provide maternity leave cover for one of our dental assistants. However, we are also looking for someone who can become a longer-term part of the practice, particularly on the administration side. For the right person, there is the opportunity for the position to develop into a permanent full-time role, combining both clinical and administrative work.

The role will include:

- Chairside dental assisting in our orthodontic clinic

- Sterilisation and clinical preparation

- Reception and patient communication

- Appointment coordination and general administration





- Helping with the day-to-day running of the practice

We are looking for someone who:

- Is friendly, reliable and well organised

- Has good communication skills and enjoys working with patients and families

- Is comfortable working both clinically and administratively

- Has strong attention to detail

- Is able to work independently when required

- Is a positive team player and willing to help where needed

- Is interested in becoming a long-term member of the practice

Previous dental assisting experience would be highly regarded. Orthodontic experience is not essential, and training can be provided for the right person.
