We’re looking for an organised, detail-focused administrator who enjoys structured, quick-paced office work.
This is a high-volume, transactional administration role focused primarily on keeping our employee onboarding and offboarding processes running smoothly. Previous HR experience isn’t required — we’re open to people from administration, sales support, coordination or customer service backgrounds where coordination and administration have formed part of your role.
A large part of your day will involve preparing employment contracts, processing employee information and coordinating with new starters, managers and internal teams to make sure everything happens accurately and on time.
The role supports our operations primarily across Australia, with occasional support for New Zealand.
This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position, initially based in Albion, Brisbane, with our office relocating to Milton in November 2026. The role works standard business hours, with some flexibility around start and finish times.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage employee onboarding, including preparing employment offers and communicating with new starters
- Manage electronic reference checks, with minimal phone-based follow-up required
- Provide administration support across the employee lifecycle
- Manage employment variations and employee offboarding processes
- Maintain and update employee records in our HRIS and personnel files
- Coordinate with Payroll, ICT, Quality, Finance and other internal teams to complete employee-related transactions
- Respond to employee and manager enquiries through our internal Service Desk
- Support the People Services Lead, Talent Acquisition Lead and Senior HR Business Partner with HR administration and processes
- Assist with annual processes such as salary reviews
- Support HR projects and other administrative requirements as needed
About you
This role will suit someone who enjoys structure, takes pride in getting the details right and is comfortable working in a busy, deadline-driven environment.
You’ll be organised, approachable and confident communicating with a wide range of people. We’re looking for someone who will take initiative rather than wait to be prompted — whether that means picking up the phone to speak with a candidate, following up with a hiring manager, or double-checking reference results and other information when something doesn’t look right.
You’ll be comfortable managing competing priorities, following things through to completion and making sure deadlines don’t slip.
You don’t need an HR degree or previous HR experience — we value practical experience, reliability, sound judgement and a strong work ethic.
We’ll provide training and support, and we’re looking for someone who wants to develop their skills and build a long-term future in HR administration.
We’re looking for
- Administration experience — this could come from an administration, retail, customer service or similar background
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks without losing attention to detail
- A high level of accuracy and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to follow established processes and identify opportunities to improve them
- Adaptability and flexibility in a changing work environment
- A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of your work
- Stable work history
- Australian or New Zealand citizenship, Australian permanent residency, or a long-term unrestricted visa with full working rights in Australia
Benefits
We offer a range of benefits, including:
- Flexible start time between 7am and 9am
- Discounts across a range of products and services, including fuel, everyday shopping, holidays, novated leases, private health insurance, banking and loans
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
- Paid parental leave
- Laptop provided in addition to your office workstation
- Enhanced Long Service Leave
