As the Maintenance Planner, you will be at the centre of a complex, highly automated baggage handling environment at Brisbane Airport. You will be responsible for ensuring maintenance activities are planned, prioritised, scheduled and executed to maximise system reliability while minimising operational disruption.

Working closely with maintenance teams, airport stakeholders and operational leaders, you will play a critical role in keeping one of Australia's most important transport hubs running smoothly.

Your day to day

- Developing and managing preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance plans
- Planning and coordinating labour, resources and maintenance schedules
- Managing maintenance activities through CMMS systems such as Maximo
- Monitoring asset health, maintenance backlogs and equipment performance
- Producing maintenance reports and reliability insights
- Supporting spare parts planning and procurement activities
- Working closely with airport stakeholders to coordinate maintenance activities
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to improve asset reliability and performance
- Ensuring all maintenance activities align with safety and compliance requirements

About You
We are looking for a planner who understands what it takes to maintain asset reliability in a complex operational environment.

Essential Experience & Qualifications

- Trade qualification (Electrical or Mechanical)



or Diploma in Engineering, Asset Management or Maintenance Management
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Maintenance Planning, Scheduling or Maintenance Coordination
- Strong CMMS experience, ideally Maximo
- Experience creating job plans, work packages and resource schedules
- Knowledge of preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance methodologies
- Experience managing maintenance backlogs and work prioritisation
- Strong data analysis and reporting capability

Highly Regarded, not essential

- Automated conveyor, material handling or sortation systems experience
- Airport, aviation or baggage handling experience
- SCADA exposure
- Reliability or asset management experience
- Lean methodology knowledge
- CMRP or RCA qualifications
