We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated Electrician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys varied work, takes pride in quality outcomes, and is confident working across event, commercial, and domestic environments.

You will have the opportunity to work with high class clients from around the world to assist with the builds of events like The Adelaide Fringe, Illuminate Adelaide, The Ashes, International Sporting Competitions, and many Music Festivals.

About the role

As an Electrician at Boltz Electrical, you will be responsible for installing, testing, connecting, commissioning, maintaining, and modifying electrical equipment and systems across a range of sites. Your work will include temporary power installations for events, fault finding and repairs, switchboard and distribution work, and general electrical maintenance across domestic and commercial projects.

This role suits someone who can work safely and efficiently in fast paced environments, communicate well with others, and adapt to changing site conditions and project demands.

Key responsibilities

· Install, test, connect, commission, maintain, and modify electrical systems and temporary power infrastructure.

· Diagnose electrical faults and complete repairs as required.

· Assist with the installation and maintenance of switchboards, circuits, outlets, lighting, and associated electrical equipment.

· Work from drawings, site requirements, and project specifications to complete work accurately and safely.

· Support event builds,



live site operations, and pack downs.

· Carry out domestic and commercial electrical work during quieter event periods.

· Comply with WHS requirements, electrical standards, and company procedures at all times.

· Maintain professional communication with clients, contractors, and internal team members.

What we’re looking for

· Strong understanding of electrical installation, testing, fault finding, and maintenance.

· Experience in temporary power and events work, highly regarded.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.

· Good problem solving ability and attention to detail.

Essential requirements

· Current electrical worker registration, South Australia.

· Current driver’s licence.

· Construction White Card.

Highly regarded

· Working at Heights certification.

· Forklift licence.

· Current police check.

· Basic Microsoft Office skills.
