FourQuarters Recruitment is looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our established team in Melbourne's South East.

This is a genuine 360-degree recruitment role for someone who enjoys the commercial side of recruitment – developing new business, building client relationships, creating opportunities and delivering successful recruitment outcomes.

You will take ownership of the full recruitment lifecycle, from identifying and developing new clients through to taking job briefs, candidate sourcing and interviewing, managing recruitment processes, negotiating offers and making placements.

You'll be joining an office with a number of highly experienced and long-tenured recruiters, creating an excellent environment to continue learning and developing while still having the autonomy and accountability to build your own desk.

The Opportunity
This role has a strong emphasis on business development, sales and client acquisition.

You'll be expected to proactively develop new relationships, identify opportunities and build a sustainable client base, while continuing to develop existing relationships.

Day to day, this will include:

- New business development and client acquisition
- Building and developing long-term client relationships
- Generating and converting recruitment opportunities
- Taking and qualifying job briefs
- Candidate sourcing, interviewing and assessment
- Managing end-to-end recruitment processes
- Negotiating and closing placements
- Building strong candidate and client networks within your market
- Managing multiple priorities and responding quickly when opportunities arise

This isn't a role where you'll simply inherit a desk and manage incoming jobs.



You'll be expected to create opportunities as well as deliver them.

About You
You'll have a minimum of 2–3 years' experience in a genuine 360-degree external recruitment role and be comfortable operating across both the sales and delivery sides of recruitment.

The role currently sits within our Business Support division, however we're open to experienced recruiters from other disciplines where the individual's skills, approach and experience are transferable.
