About the role

Acting as the primary point of contact for customers, you will work closely with our external sales team, operations staff, and suppliers to provide exceptional service and ensure customer requirements are met quickly and accurately. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

- Manage customer enquiries via phone and email

- Prepare quotations and process sales orders

- Provide product information and availability updates

- Follow up quotations and identify sales opportunities

- Coordinate with suppliers and internal production teams

- Build strong relationships with existing customers

- Assist with inventory enquiries and lead time management

- Maintain accurate customer and sales records

- Support external sales representatives and key accounts

- Ensure outstanding customer service at all times

About you

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- High attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities

- Positive attitude and team-focused approach

- Confidence working with ERP,



and Microsoft Office systems

- Experience in industrial distribution, engineering products, engineering plastics, sealing products, industrial supplies, manufacturing, or construction-related industries

- Previous customer service, internal sales, or sales support experience

- Ability to read drawings or understand technical specifications

- Previous experience preparing quotations and processing orders

- Technical aptitude and willingness to learn
