Residential Site Manager – Harris Crossing, Townsville

Living Gems is expanding our construction team at Harris Crossing, Townsville, and we’re looking for an experienced Residential Site Manager to join a project that is already well underway.

Harris Crossing is our newest Living Gems lifestyle resort, with 500+ homes planned over the next 4+ years. As construction continues to ramp up, we’re growing our site team to support the increasing volume of work and keep the project moving.

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing residential construction across the Harris Crossing site, working alongside an established team and supporting the continued growth of the project.

Living Gems delivers high-quality homes within 12–16 weeks, so experience in volume or production residential construction is essential.

You’ll manage:

- A large-scale site with 500+ homes to be built over the next 3+ years
- Up to 60 homes at different stages of construction
- Contractors, labourers, and plant operators
- Scheduling and coordination via Onsite Companion
- Site set-up, framing, and through to handover - depending on your skills

Your focus: keep trades moving seamlessly from one house to the next by ensuring everyone is ready,



scheduled, and productive.

What You’ll Bring

- Trade qualification carpentry preferred
- QBCC Supervisor Licence – essential
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in production or volume residential construction
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and build-time management
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and coordinate multiple trades
- Strong planning, organisation and communication skills
- Sound knowledge of OH&S;, building requirements and quality standards
- Confidence using construction management software and technology
- Valid driver’s licence
- A proactive, hands-on leadership style

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who leads from the front, takes ownership and knows how to get a residential site moving.
