Join a leading commercial nursery in Skye and become part of a busy production team specialising in plant propagation and seedling production.

We’re looking for reliable, hands-on Production Workers to work in the Mother Stock area, harvesting and preparing plant material used throughout the production process.

This is a physical, hands-on role in a warm and humid environment, suited to someone who enjoys staying active, working with their hands and completing repetitive tasks with care and accuracy.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Harvesting Mother Stock plants for propagation

- Working with seedlings across tasks such as sticking, gapping, deflasking, and propagation

- Supporting general production duties including potting, planting, and nursery maintenance

- Performing repetitive handwork with accuracy and consistency

- Assisting with cleaning, equipment care, and maintaining work areas

- Following instructions, meeting production targets, and ensuring high-quality standards

- Assisting with dispatch and preparation of outgoing orders as needed

Your Role

- Harvesting Mother Stock plants for propagation





- Working with seedlings, including sticking, gapping, deflasking and propagation

- Potting, planting and general nursery duties

- Completing repetitive handwork with accuracy and consistency

- Assisting with cleaning and equipment care

- Maintaining clean and organised work areas

- Following processes and meeting production targets

- Assisting with dispatch and preparing outgoing orders when required

- Reliable and punctual

- Physically fit and comfortable being on your feet

- Comfortable working in warm and humid environments

- Happy performing repetitive and detailed tasks

- Able to follow instructions and processes

- A strong team player with good communication skills

- Quick to learn and comfortable moving between different tasks

- Hands-on and willing to get stuck into the work

Important Information

- Reliable transport is essential — the site is not accessible by public transport

- Non-smoking and non-vaping facility due to plant sensitivity

- Monday–Friday availability required
