This is an accounting internship opportunity for fresh graduates or those newly migrated to Australia seeking local work experience. You will work with CPA Accountants & Certified Trainers who will mentor you, providing practical experience with real client data across various accounting functions.
Key responsibilities
- Work with Payroll Systems (XERO & MYOB)
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Perform Bank Reconciliation
- Prepare Financial Reports
- Calculate and prepare BAS/GST Reports
- Perform Bookkeeping using MYOB & XERO
- Prepare Easy to complex Tax Returns for Individual, Rental property, CGT & Business clients
- Receive software training in XERO, MYOB, and Handi Tax
- Apply software knowledge to real work on individual and business client accounts
About you
- Fresh accounting graduate or completing your degree from Uni or TAFE
- Newly migrated to Australia as an accountant
- No local work experience in accounting required
- International student visa holders are eligible to apply
