We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marine Meteorologist to join our operational weather forecasting team.
Key responsibilities
- Produce marine and aviation weather forecasts
- Monitor tropical cyclone developments and issue tropical cyclone alerts and warnings
- Monitor for severe weather events and issue alerts and warnings
- Deliver weather briefings to clients
- Forecasting shift work to support Company's 24/7 operations
- On site weather forecasting duties at remote offshore locations
- Liaise with Clients' operations personnel
About you
- Formal qualifications in Meteorology (degree or diploma)
- WMO accredited training / qualification
- Minimum eight years practical weather forecasting experience in Asia Pacific
- Preference given to experience in marine and tropical meteorology
