We are a specialist Fibreglass Detailing and Repair Company based in Mackay, and we’re looking for an experienced Fibreglass Technician to join our growing team.

? About the Role

This role is suited to someone with fiberglass repair experience who is confident carrying out repairs and finishing work to an extremely high standard.

You’ll work across a variety of fibreglass components, completing everything from minor cosmetic repairs through to more involved fibreglass restoration and repairs.

Key duties include:

• Fibreglass repairs and restoration

• Gelcoat repairs and finishing

• Sanding, grinding, filling and surface preparation

• Colour matching and finishing repairs

• Polishing and sealing fibreglass components

• Identifying damage and determining appropriate repair methods

• General detailing and finishing of truck parts

• Working independently and as part of our team

• Travelling to client sites when required, with some trips requiring up to a week away

• Housekeeping – keep your workspace clean & tidy

What We're Looking For:

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Excellent attention to detail and takes pride in their workmanship

• A clean and tidy approach to their work





• A strong work ethic and professional attitude

• Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team

• A current and valid Australian driver’s licence

• Robust understanding of product knowledge

• Previous experience with fibreglass repairs

• Experience with gelcoat repairs, sanding, preparation and finishing

• The ability to work independently and problem-solve on the job

• The physical fitness required for hands-on work

• The willingness and ability to travel for work when required

Experience with truck bodies, caravans, boats, automotive bodywork or similar fibreglass products would be highly regarded.
