Grants Platform Systems Analyst

Australian Government | 6-Month Contract | Extensions up to 2 Years | Level 2 Application Support

We are seeking an experienced System Analyst to join an Australian Government department, supporting critical digital platforms that deliver services to Australian businesses.

This is an initial 6-month contract, with potential extensions for up to 2 years or more

This is a hands-on Level 2 application support role suited to someone who enjoys troubleshooting complex issues, working with technical teams and finding practical solutions for users.

About the role

You will provide technical support across key grants management platforms, working closely with business users, system support teams, developers and technical specialists.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing Level 2 support and resolving complex application incidents.
- Investigating issues, performing root cause analysis and coordinating resolutions.
- Working with business and technical stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
- Monitoring system performance and identifying recurring issues.
- Supporting system upgrades, enhancements and changes.
- Developing and maintaining knowledge base articles and technical documentation.
- Performing system administration and support activities across Microsoft Azure and other technical tools.
- Using ServiceNow, Azure DevOps and Application Insights to manage and investigate incidents and issues.
- Contributing to continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

About youWe are looking for someone with:

- Experience in Level 2 application or systems support.
- Robust troubleshooting and analytical/problem-solving skills.
- Experience investigating and resolving complex incidents.
- Understanding of incident and problem management.




- Experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with ServiceNow or another ITSM platform.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues in plain English.
- Experience working collaboratively with developers, technical specialists and business stakeholders.

Experience with Azure DevOps, Application Insights, CRM platforms or government systems will be highly regarded.
Security ClearanceApplicants must be Australian citizens and able to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Baseline security clearance.
