About the role

This is a hands-on business development and account management role suited to an experienced sales professional who enjoys working directly with business managers, engineers, maintenance personnel, procurement teams, and workshop managers. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, developing customer relationships, and providing technical product solutions that deliver value to our customers.

Key responsibilities

- Manage and grow an established customer portfolio
- Identify and secure new business opportunities
- Conduct regular customer visits and site inspections
- Prepare quotations and prepare commercial proposals
- Collaborate with internal sales and operations teams
- Develop solution-based proposals using engineering plastics and industrial materials
- Provide product recommendations based on customer applications
- Monitor market activity and competitor movements
- Achieve sales growth and profitability targets
- Maintain accurate customer records and prepare sales forecasts

About you

- Proven B2B sales experience within industrial, manufacturing or technical products




- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Ability to identify customer needs and develop practical solutions
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills
- Current driver's licence
- Proficient computer and CRM skills
- Experience in engineering plastics, PTFE, industrial components, bearings, conveyor products, fluid handling, hydraulics or related industrial sectors
- Mechanical or engineering aptitude
- Existing networks within manufacturing and engineering industries
