About the Role

Perilya's Broken Hill Operations is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Human Resources Graduate / Officer to join our Human Resources team. You will play a key role in supporting a broad range of HR activities, with a particular focus on recruitment, employee lifecycle processes, HR projects, and supporting leaders and employees across the operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Human Resources graduate looking to commence their career, or an early-career HR professional seeking exposure to all aspects of human resources within a agile mining environment.

As a Human Resources Graduate / Officer, you will:

- Provide HR support and advice to employees and supervisors across the business.

- Assist employees with employment-related enquiries.

- Coordinate onboarding activities.

- Assist with maintaining and updating position descriptions, policies and procedures.

- Support performance management processes and maintain associated records and systems.

- Assist with employee departures and offboarding processes.

- Maintain HR records and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date.

- Contribute to HR projects, workforce planning initiatives and succession planning activities.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

- A Bachelor of Business, Commerce or similar qualification with a major in Human Resources and/or Employment Relations, or be currently completing your studies.





- A genuine interest in developing a career in Human Resources.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong organisational and time management skills.

- Sound judgement, initiative and problem-solving ability.

- High levels of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality.

- Strong attention to detail and administrative capability.

- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

- A commitment to safety, teamwork and continuous improvement.
