Red Volt Electrical is looking for an experienced Electrician to join our Alice Springs team.

We're a growing local electrical contractor delivering commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects across Alice Springs and Central Australia.

At a standard 38-hour week, $60/hour equates to approximately $118,560 per year before super, excluding overtime and additional allowances.

THE WORK

Forget doing the same job every day.

Red Volt delivers a broad range of electrical projects, giving our electricians exposure to work including:

- Commercial electrical installations

- Industrial electrical installations

- Switchboards and distribution systems

- Generator and changeover systems

- Large mains and submain installations

- Cable tray and ladder systems

- Controls and equipment connections

- Testing and commissioning





- Electrical maintenance

- Fault finding

- Construction projects

- Infrastructure works

- Remote projects throughout Central Australia

You'll have the opportunity to work across projects from smaller service and upgrade works through to major commercial and infrastructure installations.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for a qualified electrician who is reliable, capable and takes pride in producing quality work.

You'll ideally have:

- Australian electrical trade qualification

- Current electrical licence or ability to obtain an NT electrical licence

- Current Australian driver's licence

- Construction White Card

- Good understanding of AS/NZS 3000

- Strong electrical testing and fault-finding skills

- Good workmanship and attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Good communication skills

- A strong approach to safety

Experience in commercial, industrial, switchboard, generator, controls or infrastructure work will be highly regarded.

Tickets such as EWP, Working at Heights, First Aid/CPR, LVR and Confined Space are advantageous but aren't essential for the right person.
