The Role
Our client is a large, well-established automotive dealer group seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join its head office team in South Western Sydney.

Working across the group’s franchised new car dealership operations, you will be responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts and franchise partner reporting, BAS lodgement, balance sheet reconciliations, EFT approvals and maintenance of the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.

You will also complete CNP (Core Non-Negotiable Procedures) files and associated requirements, review receivables and assist with timely collections, contribute to annual budget preparation and support the Financial Controller in achieving the group’s financial reporting objectives.

This is a hands-on dealership accounting position requiring close interaction with dealership management teams to ensure both financial and operational requirements are met.

You’ll Need
Previous experience as a Management Accountant within a franchised new car dealership is essential, together with hands-on experience using TUNE.

Applicants will need to be appropriately qualified and either hold a CA or CPA qualification, or be currently studying towards one.

You will have a robust understanding of dealership month-end processes,



franchise reporting, BAS, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, receivables and budgeting. Strong Excel skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with Financial Controllers and operational dealership management will also be essential.
