About the role

We are seeking an experienced technician to work with our service and projects teams. Your main duties and responsibilities will include some or all of the following:

- Developing in-depth knowledge of ASC's technology and solutions suite

- Understanding and following plans and instructions for security equipment and systems

- Installing, repairing, testing and maintaining security equipment and systems

- Programming (hardware and firmware), configuration and commissioning of electronic security equipment and systems

- Connection and integration of security systems with managed services

- Performance test electronic security systems, including alarm, access control, and CCTV

- Ensuring health and safety requirements are followed

About you

- Experience with installation and maintenance of alarm, access control and CCTV systems, preferably in the retail and commercial sectors

- Ability to perform cabling, fit off (including panels) and commissioning of electronic security systems

- Quality trade skills

- You MUST have:

- Current VIC Private Security Registration

- Current drivers' licence

- Current Open Cabling Registration





- Construction General Induction (white card)

- Unrestricted work rights in Australia

- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness

- Experience with Inner Range, Tecom, Milestone, Hanwha, Axis, i-Pro, and the like is considered highly beneficial.
