ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently seeking an experienced Plumbing Supervisor to join a busy team working on a 4:3 FIFO roster at a Rio Tinto site.

This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with a strong focus on delivering quality plumbing works safely and to Rio Tinto standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the team, managing works from quoting through to completion, and maintaining strong client relationships.

The role is supported by an experienced team already on site, with in-house training provided on company systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate the plumbing team on site
- Quote and scope upcoming works
- Order materials and coordinate resources
- Manage works from initial quote through to completion
- Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently and to Rio Tinto standards
- Communicate directly with clients and build strong working relationships
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and productivity
- Support and develop the existing team on site

About You

- Trade-qualified plumber with strong plumbing knowledge
- Previous mining experience is required
- Strong polywelding and pipefitting experience
- Previous supervisory or team management experience
- Experience quoting works, ordering materials and managing jobs from start to finish is essential




- Reasonable computer skills and willingness to learn current systems
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong focus on safety and quality

REQUIREMENTS:

- S26 Qualified
- WA Plumbing Tradesperson Licence
- C / HR Drivers Licence
- White / Blue Card
- Excavator, Bobcat / Skid Steer machine tickets
- Polywelding ticket
- Working at heights
- Confined Spaces
- HRWL - WP
- National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
- Ability to pass a medical and regular drug & alcohol testing
- Valid Australian working rights
- Must be based in Perth

Successful candidates will be required to undergo a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug and Alcohol Screen testing.
