Abruzzo Ceramics is looking for a friendly, creative and customer-focused Showroom Sales Consultant to join our Wetherill Park team.

This role combines helping customers choose beautiful tiles with creating engaging social media content that showcases our products and inspires our audience.

You’ll work two days per week, including Saturdays, with the second day agreed with the successful applicant. Saturday availability and practical social media experience are essential.

Key responsibilities

- Greet and welcome customers to the showroom, creating a warm and professional first impression

- Provide expert product knowledge and recommendations based on customer requirements and preferences

- Demonstrate ceramic products effectively, highlighting key features, benefits and applications

- Assist customers through the entire sales process, from initial inquiry to finalising transactions

- Process sales transactions accurately, utilising point-of-sale systems and maintaining proper documentation

- Maintain showroom displays and product presentation to the highest standards

- Address customer queries and concerns professionally, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty

- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall financial performance of the showroom

- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth showroom operations

- Keep informed about new products, promotions and industry trends

- Creating and regularly updating content for our social media channels, including Instagram and Facebook.

- Taking appealing photos and short videos of tile ranges,



showroom displays and new arrivals.

- Producing posts, stories and reels that share product information and design inspiration.

- Writing clear, engaging captions that reflect our business.

- Planning and scheduling content with the team to maintain a consistent online presence.

What we're looking for

- Reliable availability for two days per week, including every Saturday.

- Proven experience in a showroom, retail or sales consultant role, preferably within the building materials, ceramics, or home improvement industry

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customers

- Product knowledge or willingness to quickly learn about ceramic products and their applications

- Qualified appearance and demeanour befitting a customer-facing role

- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills

- Hands-on experience creating and publishing social media content for a business, brand or organisation.

- Confidence producing photos, short videos, stories and reels.

- Experience using Canva or similar editing and content creation tools, would be ideal.

- Problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach to service delivery

- Enthusiasm, reliability and a positive attitude towards work

Experience with design consultation or knowledge of interior design trends
