Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team on a full-time basis, to be based in Darwin, NT.

THE ROLE

Based in Darwin, you will be the face of AMEK Engineering in office. Your day-to-day will involve:

- Preventative and scheduled maintenance and servicing on major mechanical plants

- Diagnostic fault-finding and breakdown repairs.

- Installation and commissioning of HVAC&R; equipment





- Logging service reports into a job management app on a daily basis

- Collaborating with our highly skilled team of technicians, engineers and office support

ABOUT YOU

- Experienced in servicing major mechanical plant and equipment.

- Technical knowledge and understanding of Chillers and large central plant (ideal)

- Self-starter

- Honest and Reliable

- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work under pressure.

- Able to work independently with minimal supervision

- OHS&E; knowledge and understanding.

- Diagnosis and fault-finding skills.

- Be willing to travel inter/intra state when required

- Be available for planned and unplanned overtime

- Be willing to take part in an After-Hours On-Call Roster

QUALIFICATIONS & LICENSING

- Cert III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration

- Refrigerant Handling License

- A-Grade Electrical License (Not essential but will be highly regarded)

- Manual Drivers' license (Preferred)

- Construction White Card & Working at Heights (Current).

- Working with Children Check (Current)

- National Police Check (within 6 months)
