About the role

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Personal Care Workers , Disability support worker and Domestic Staff to join our growing team in Brisbane, Gold coast , Sunshine coast and Toowoomba QLD. This is a casual position offering flexible hours to suit your availability. In this role, you will provide essential personal care and domestic support services to aged and disabled clients within their homes or care settings. You will play a vital role in enabling our clients to maintain their independence, comfort and wellbeing. This position is perfect for individuals seeking flexibility whilst making a genuine impact in the community.

Key responsibilities

- Provide personal care assistance including showering, dressing, grooming and toileting in a dignified and respectful manner

- Assist clients with mobility, transferring and positioning using appropriate manual handling techniques

- Perform domestic duties such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping and laundry to maintain a safe and clean living environment

- Support clients with activities of daily living and encourage independence where possible

- Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided and client wellbeing

- Communicate effectively with clients, their families and the broader care team

- Identify and report any concerns or changes in client health or behaviour to supervisors

- Adhere to all health and safety protocols, infection control procedures and duty of care responsibilities





- Work flexibly and responsively to meet the individual needs of clients

What we're looking for

- A genuine passion for providing compassionate care and support to vulnerable individuals

- Relevant qualifications such as a Certificate III in Aged Care or Certificate III in Disability Support (or equivalent), or willingness to obtain these qualifications

- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

- Working With Children Check (WWCC) and/or National Police Clearance

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients

- Physical capability to perform personal care duties and manual handling tasks safely

- Reliability and punctuality with a adaptable approach to scheduling

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Understanding of person-centred care principles and respect for client dignity and privacy

- Experience in aged care, disability support or community services is highly desirable
