About the Opportunity

Freehold Property Group is seeking a dedicated Caretaker Contractor for a townhouse complex in Helensvale. This is a hands-on role for a motivated individual passionate about maintaining beautifully landscaped environments and ensuring a well-kept, functional complex.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform daily lawn and garden maintenance tasks, including mowing, edging, weeding, hedging, and general garden clean-ups, to exceed client expectations.

- Manage landscaping duties such as fertilizing, mulching, planting, turfing, small tree removal, and irrigation maintenance.

- Oversee building maintenance, including cleaning driveways, footpaths, and letterbox areas.

- Maintain pool and BBQ facilities as well as handle council bin schedules and cleaning.

- Conduct routine checks and basic servicing of tools, machinery, and equipment, ensuring proper safety standards.

- Identify and report hazards, damages, or repairs requiring skilled contractors.

- Serve as the first point of contact for emergencies, coordinating emergency repairs as needed.

- Keep detailed records of weekly activities and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety policies.

- Approx 25-30hrs per week required.

About You

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of property caretaking experience, Grounds keeping/landscaping skills, or a trades background. You are:





- Skilled in the use of tools and machinery for landscaping and maintenance.

- Knowledgeable in herbicides, pesticides, and general landscaping practices.

- Professional, respectful, and committed to high standards of work.

- Strong communicator who is able to navigate challenges with tact.

- Flexible and ready to handle diverse tasks, including emergency situations.
