About the role
We're looking for a friendly, happy and reliable Casual Retail Team Member to join our team, working across Binnorie Dairy and Smelly Cheese in Lovedale, Hunter Valley. This is a casual position with rostered shifts across Monday to Sunday. Our trading hours for both stores are 9:30am–5:00pm, 7 days a week.
Key responsibilities
Providing friendly and welcoming customer service
Serving and talking to customers about our cheeses and products
Making fresh sandwiches and easy food items
Serving cheese, ice cream and other retail products
Operating the register and handling customer purchases
Keeping the retail area clean, stocked and inviting
Making coffees when required
About you
A friendly, positive attitude and a genuine smile
Great customer service and communication skills
Reliable and able to work well within a team
Availability for rostered weekday and weekend shifts
Comfortable preparing, handling and serving food
Food Handling Certificate (Preferred)
Current RSA if you are 18 years or over
Retail or hospitality experience – preferred but not essential
Barista experience (Preferred)
