Looking for some extra work over Christmas? We’re looking for an Optical Dispenser to join a friendly, quick-paced optical team over the busy summer period.

This role suits someone who is confident across the dispensing process, enjoys working with customers and is happy to jump in and contribute from day one.

The role
Frame and lens selection and advice
Accurate PDs, heights and measurements
Processing and checking optical orders
Fittings, adjustments and repairs
Managing straightforward and more involved dispensing requirements
Troubleshooting dispensing and fitting issues
Working alongside optometrists and the wider team
Providing friendly, professional customer service throughout the process

About you
Previous optical dispensing experience is preferred
Solid knowledge of lenses, prescriptions and frame fitting
Confident working independently




Accurate and detail-focused
Able to manage competing priorities in a busy practice
Friendly, reliable and organised
Practical approach to problem solving
Available over the Christmas and summer period
