We're on the lookout for a reliable, hardworking, and kitchen-savvy individual to join our crew at The Spotted Cod. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values cleanliness and order, and takes pride in preparing outstanding food for awesome people.

Key Responsibilities:
Support daily food prep, including portioning, battering, frying, cutting, and plating with attention to detail
Keep kitchen workspaces, equipment, and storage areas clean and organized throughout service
Follow proper food safety, storage, and hygiene procedures at all times
Communicate clearly and respectfully with the front-of-house team to maintain a smooth service flow
Assist with daily open/close routines, restocking, and general kitchen upkeep





What We’re Looking For:
Basic understanding of kitchen operations and prep methods — knife skills, safe fryer use, station setup, etc.
Ability to stay focused and efficient in a high-pressure setting
Reliable, on-time, and eager to be part of a close-knit team
Prior kitchen experience is preferred, but if you’re teachable and committed, we’re happy to train you

Pay: $25.00 – $38.00 per hour
