About the role

The Pet Butcher is seeking a casual Food Production team member to join our operations in Hindmarsh, SA. This role is integral to our manufacturing and production processes, supporting the delivery of high-quality pet food products. As a casual position 25 - 38 hours per week, this offers flexibility whilst contributing meaningfully to our production operations.

Key responsibilities
Operating and monitoring food production equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards
Preparing raw materials and ingredients for production processes
Following standardized recipes and production procedures to ensure consistent product quality
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across production areas and equipment
Identifying and reporting any production issues or equipment malfunctions to supervisors
Working collaboratively with other production team members to meet daily targets
Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies

About you
Experience in food production or manufacturing environments, or demonstrated ability to learn production processes quickly
Robust attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards
Ability to follow instructions precisely and work in accordance with documented procedures




Physical fitness and capability to perform tasks that may involve standing for extended periods, lifting, and repetitive motions
Reliable and punctual approach to work, with flexibility to accommodate casual scheduling requirements
Basic numeracy skills for recording and reporting production data
