Chef – Itahlia Restaurant

Itahlia Restaurant in Sunbury is looking for a casual Chef to join our friendly and qualified kitchen team.

We are passionate about Italian food and take pride in delivering fresh, quality dishes and a outstanding dining experience. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a busy team environment and takes pride in their work.

The Role
Prepare and cook Italian dishes, pizzas, pastas and other menu items
Assist with food preparation, kitchen organisation and daily service
Follow recipes, menus and food safety procedures
Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
Work efficiently during busy service periods
Keep the kitchen clean and organised
Assist with functions, events and special bookings




Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams

About You
1–2 years' experience in a skilled kitchen preferred
Experience with Italian cuisine is an advantage
Reliable, hardworking and team-oriented
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Available for evenings and weekends

Additional shifts may be available depending on bookings, functions and events. Job Ready and/or future sponsorship may available

Pay: From $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
