About the role

We are an established independent automotive workshop in Springvale, servicing and repairing a wide range of vehicle makes and models. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will be responsible for providing a professional and welcoming experience while supporting the day-to-day administration of our workshop.

Key responsibilities
Greet customers and assist with general enquiries
Answer and manage incoming phone calls and emails
Assist customers with service and repair bookings
Record customer and vehicle details accurately
Coordinate customer vehicle drop-off and collection
Communicate basic job updates and vehicle status to customers
Liaise with technicians and workshop staff regarding customer vehicles
Prepare and organise basic paperwork, invoices and customer records
Process customer payments and issue receipts
Manage keys and vehicle documentation

About you
Friendly, professional and confident when dealing with customers
Well organised with good attention to detail
Reliable and able to manage multiple tasks




Comfortable answering phone calls and communicating with customers
Able to work effectively in a busy workshop environment
Confident using computers, email and basic office software
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Previous experience in automotive reception, service advising, workshop administration or customer service would be highly regarded, but is not essential
Basic automotive knowledge would also be an advantage
