ABOUT THE ROLE

GFB FOODS is a growing Australian food manufacturer specialising in premium gluten-free frozen food products supplied to supermarkets, distributors and foodservice customers across Australia.

We are looking for a reliable, organised and proactive Pack Room Co-ordinator to take responsibility for the daily operation and workflow of our Pack Room.

This is a hands-on role with a high level of responsibility. You will work closely with our Cook Room Co-ordinator, receiving Production Sheets and coordinating the Pack Room to ensure products are packed accurately, on schedule and moved into the freezer ready for dispatch.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate the daily Pack Room schedule and workflow.
Liaise with the Cook Room Co-ordinator regarding daily production.
Receive and complete Production Sheets accurately.
Ensure products are packed, labelled and prepared correctly.
Coordinate regular weekly stock requirements and special orders.
Move finished stock into the freezer ready for dispatch.
Maintain an organised and functional freezer for effective stock movement.
Monitor stock requirements and report shortages or discrepancies.




Guide Pack Room staff to ensure daily packing requirements are achieved.
Maintain food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who is responsible, organised and confident taking ownership of their area.

You will need:
Fluent spoken, written and reading English.
Robust organisational and communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to complete production paperwork accurately.
Reliability and a strong work ethic.
Ability to coordinate workflow and work within a team.
Ability to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Availability to work 4 full days per week.

Previous experience in food manufacturing, production, packing, warehousing or cold storage is highly regarded.

Full training will be provided. We are looking for someone seeking a reliable, long-term position who takes pride in keeping their area organised, accurate and running efficiently.

Pay: $33.00 – $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 35.0 per week
