Bell & Senior Lawyers is seeking an experienced Senior Solicitor – Family Law to join our established practice in Southport on the Gold Coast.
The role is primarily focused on Family Law, and we are looking for a solicitor who is confident independently managing matters from initial consultation through to resolution.
The successful applicant will have at least 5 years’ post-qualification experience, including a minimum of 3 years independently running family law matters.
The role includes:
Managing your own family law files from initial consultation to completion.
Providing practical and strategic legal advice to clients.
Drafting correspondence, agreements, court documents and other legal documents.
Managing negotiations, dispute resolution and settlement processes.
Preparing for and attending court appearances where appropriate.
Managing client communication, deadlines and file progression.
Working collaboratively with solicitors and our administrative support team.
Mentoring and supporting junior staff where appropriate.
Assisting occasionally with matters in other areas of law, providing variety and broader experience.
We are looking for someone with strong organisational and communication skills, sound qualified judgment, a practical and client-focused approach, and the ability to work confidently and independently.
Our office is located at 121 Scarborough Street, Southport, within a few minutes’ walk of the Southport Courthouse.

Remuneration will be negotiated with the successful applicant based on experience and capability.
Pay: $76,561.43 – $140,822.15 per year
