General Labourer / Forklift Driver

Location: Auburn, NSW
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm
Pay Rate: $35–$37 per hour + super

About the Role

We are seeking a physically fit and reliable General Labourer / Forklift Driver to join an established industrial business in Auburn.

The company manufactures and services bearings, equipment and components used within the rail industry.

This is primarily a hands-on labouring position, with approximately 90% of the role involving manual work. Forklift operation will only form a smaller part of your duties.

Key Responsibilities
Washing and cleaning industrial bearings and components
Handling heavy parts and equipment
General labouring within an industrial warehouse
Loading, unloading and moving materials
Operating a counterbalance forklift when required
Preparing components for inspection or further processing
Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Following workplace safety procedures and instructions

What We’re Looking For
Current Australian forklift licence
Counterbalance forklift experience




Physically fit and comfortable performing repetitive manual tasks
Willingness to undertake dirty, wet and hands-on industrial work
Reliable and able to start work at 6:00am
Positive attention to detail
Strong safety awareness
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, engineering or warehouse environments is advantageous
