Our client is a well-established mining services business based in Heatherbrae and is looking for a Trades Assistant with spray painting experience to join their team on afternoon shift.

This is a outstanding prospect for someone with a trade background or hands-on workshop experience who enjoys working in a busy environment and wants a family-friendly Monday to Thursday roster.

The Role
Working alongside the workshop team, you'll assist with a range of general workshop duties, including:
Spray painting and surface preparation
Assisting tradespeople with day-to-day workshop tasks
Cleaning, preparation and finishing of mining equipment and components
Packing and wrapping pallets ready for dispatch
General manual handling and use of hand tools
Loading and preparing equipment and components for transport
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
Following workplace health and safety procedures

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who:




Has previous spray painting experience, ideally in a workshop or industrial setting
Has experience working around machinery, equipment or mining components
Is practical, reliable and hands-on
Can work well as part of a team
Takes pride in the quality of their work
Has a strong commitment to workplace safety

Previous mining or heavy industry experience will be highly regarded, but isn’t essential.
