We have an exciting opportunity for someone to take the next step in their skilled career and join our team as the Head chef. We are on an exciting journey as a business, transitioning from a fish and chips shop to a fish and chips restaurant. The successful candidate will come into our business with a professional mindset, have a plan on how and help maintain and lift our professional standards, and work closely with the owner on setting the direction for the next 12 months. if this sounds like you, then we would love to hear from you. Below is a list of tasks that we feel the successful candidate will possess;
Chef, Grilling and Food preparation
Confident & outgoing with robust customer service skills.
Supervising kitchen staff, assigning tasks, and ensuring an efficient and organized work environment.
Maintaining high standards for food preparation.




Implementing management vision for the kitchen and ensuring daily plans are executed effectively.
Motivating the team, resolving conflicts, and training less experienced cooks.
Overseeing cleanliness, maintaining kitchen efficiency, and ensuring food safety practices are followed.
Assisting in menu planning, development, and the creation of recent dishes. Having an understanding of Greek cuisine would be highly considered. Having strong experience with seafood will be highly considered also
Must provide minimum of 38 hours per week and availability to suit the business

Pay: $30.00 – $45.00 per hour
