About the RoleWe are looking for a Casual Pastry Chef to join us at the Argyle Stores Precinct in The Rocks, Sydney. This role involves a mix of service and production shifts, requiring a flexible approach to your roster. You will lead your section to deliver gold-standard desserts in a fast-paced, premium setting while maintaining the highest culinary standards.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage your designated pastry section to ensure the consistent delivery of premium quality dishes.
Execute dishes with precision, focusing on exceptional presentation and portion control during service.
Collaborate with the Head Chef and senior team to uphold the restaurant’s culinary vision.




Supervise and support junior team members, fostering efficiency and skilled growth.
Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and WH&S; standards to maintain a clean, organized workstation.

Requirements
Formal qualification in Commercial Cookery or Patisserie is essential.
Proven experience as a Commis Chef or Chef De Partie in a premium or fine-dining setting.
Solid foundation in kitchen fundamentals and pastry techniques.
Mastery of kitchen safety and hygiene regulations.
A passion for excellence and a creative mindset.
